André joined Airshed as a part-time student in 2011. Since then, he completed his MEng in Environmental Engineering degree in 2017 focusing on nitrogen and sulphur deposition on the South African Highveld. He rejoined Airshed in 2024 as a part time specialist and has experience in air quality impact assessments for various mining operations, NAIES and GHG reporting for scrap metal and aluminum alloy industries. During his free time, he helps organize local board gaming groups, is an avid gardener and specializes in making compost.
